October is my favorite month. It’s fall, the air is crisp, the leaves are orange, the pumpkins are fresh and it’s my birthday. (Yes I’m a Libra).
This October my sister had the brilliant idea to write 30,000 words and I’m jumping in with both feet! I’m in baby!
Since there are 31 days in October that is 968 words a day. Or if you like to go by weeks, it’s 7,500 words by every Sunday.
Would you like to join us? It’s a choose your own adventure challenge, so you pick the word count, commit to it and I’ll hype you up!
Or if you’re revising you could pick a certain amount of pages you’d like to get through, commit to it, and I’ll hype you up!
Either way it’s a perfect month to write.
Leave your goal in the comments or post about it on your socials. #draftober
Happy Draftober.
I'd like to join you! I want to write an average of 500 words a day - because my month is busy with family including quite a few days I won't get anything done. (Canadian Thanksgiving, elderly mom duty, my son's rather early reading week)
