I’m not going to lie, this goal was loftier than I expected. My daughter has been sick, pretty much this entire month. I’m not feeling great today either and I honestly wasn’t sure if it was going to happen. My husband is going in for ACL surgery next week. I’ve been feeling really stressed and a bit down.
But I did it. I accomplished my goal of writing 30,000 words in the month of October. There are lots of things I did not accomplish this month that I wanted to. I didn’t run the 10k I planned. We didn’t get to go on the Halloween train. (Not going to lie, I cried about that). I’ve had to reschedule things.
It’s been a tough month. It feels good that I did this one thing and that I’ve had a delightful story to escape to when everything else has felt like a lot.
To keep up the momentum, my writing goal for November is to finish this draft! What are your writing goals this month?
Great job! My goal is weekly Substack and to continue to chip away at book 2, all while querying book 1. Ready to rumble!
Dang that is so impressive! Way to go!!
