Just a few quick thoughts

Hey friends.

This weekend in the Seattle area it has been in the fifties. Que Postal Service “no concerns about the world getting warmer, people thought they we’re just being rewarded.”

Ahh, my elder millennial is showing.

Anyway, I took my daughter to the park, my knee actually felt okay, and we tried to enjoy it. We’ve had a family thing going on, that I’m not going to get into but it has made things hard. My daughter doesn’t understand, so I’m trying to be there for her and let her have a sunny-three-day weekend. But I feel like I’m walking through a fog.

So what to do with myself when not out with my daughter…make stuff. Create. Distract.

I’ve been working on the fourth Fortune Falls Book. 🥰 It’s so cute!!!! Trying to get in the groove with it has been a bit challenging though.

I also made a YouTube video on how I sold over 10,000 copies of my books in my first four months as an indie romance author. It is in no way meant to make you feel bad or better if you sold more or less, I’m just sharing my experience in case you’d like to try any of it.

One thing I share in the video is that I learned a lot of my publishing strategies from a class I took from Sarra Cannon called Publish and Thrive. It was super informative. I loved it and I learned a ton! I share some other resources and strategies in the video so if you are at all interested in self-publishing, check it out.

Today we have big plans for another park (the one with the zip line) and I’m meeting with my OG critique partner (crit coven 4eva) about my thriller. I hope you have had a glorious weekend and if you have today off too, I hope it’s wonderful. 💕
